In the design phase, the most important choices for the environmental impact of a project are made. Using the MKI as a broad indicator of sustainability and circularity, you will learn how environmental impact can be included early and substantiated in design considerations.
This training will show you how ECI is applied when comparing and optimizing design and product variants, without having to make your own ECI calculations. On the basis of recognizable practical examples and the tool ontwerpvariant.nl, you will get to work yourself in understanding and interpreting environmental impact.
Upon completion, you will be able to understand, compare and apply ECI results in design choices. For complex projects, external support remains desirable, but you will be able to use the results directly and effectively in practice.
Because of the trainer’s experience, each question can be immediately provided with a response, figure and even practical example. We have conducted a design variants study for almost every possible situation before and can go into this in depth without mentioning the organization or client name.
